The White Lotus Season 3: What to Expect from the Next Chapter

I believe that The White Lotus is one of the freshest and brilliant shows since its premiere back in 2021 the show’s themes; characters, and storyline deliver social satire, psychological profiling, and twists, respectively. 

Every season has transported viewers to another exotic place while giving them a glimpse on the lives of the rich and providing them the sinister aspect they deserved.

So where could ‘Season 3’ take place Then?

1. Asia: Reports were floated that the third season could be set in a Hawaiian resort or a Japanese or Thai seafood restaurant. It would be interesting to place Western characters in Japan since the show focuses on different aspects of culture of the country where the filming takes place. 
2. Greece or the French Riviera: Supporters of the phenomenon are expecting another Mediterranean environment after Sicily’s impressive sea views. But the same Mediterranean feel could be enjoyed in the Grecian Islands or along the coast of the French riviera, but with a different flavored culture. 
3. The Caribbean: If the Mediterranean has been dominating up to this point, the Caribbean can offer a completely different view. Places like the Bahamas or Dominican Republic can provide a bright and exotic picture while focusing on how different is life of tourists, enjoying comfort in their expensive resorts, and people living in nearby shacks.
4. I will say that whatever space will be used, the audience can assume that it will be not just visually stunning, but that place will become a character in the story, playing a role in strengthening the social satire of The White Lotus.

The Cast and Characters

Another major aspect is the casting: before entering the large white temple, The White Lotus’ cast seems to be almost un — with famous actors and actresses alongside newcomers. There are no confirmed reports of the cast for Season 3 as of yet, but we can guess who will be back, and who might be new to the series.

Potential Returning Characters:

Jennifer Coolidge as Tanya McQuoid: Given the reception of Jennifer Coolidge’s turn as Tanya McQuoid in Seasons 1 and 2, it would hardly be a shock if she returned for appearances in a Season 3. It might have offered her character the chance to examine corporate greed and also family dynamics, could have worked.
